Spring Break at the Library

Are you looking for things to do during Spring Break?

  • Stop by the library or check our catalog for books, audiobooks, DVDs and more to enjoy during the time off from school.
  • Check out a Michigan Activity Pass for free or reduced admission to museums and other attractions in Michigan.  See the MAP website for participating locations and to check out passes using your library card.
  • Check out ebooks or e-audiobooks using your library card.  See information here and see the catalog and check out items here.

Wednesday, April 6
Game Day
10:00 - 12:00
Children of all ages are invited to drop in any time between 10:00 and noon to play Wii games, board games, card games, and cup stacking.  Registration is not required; just drop by to play.

Thursday, April 7
Tiny Tales (ages 2-3)
10:30 - 11:00
This week's stories, songs, and craft will be about things that are green.  If you'll be joining us for the fist time, please register here.  

Thursday, April 7
Get Creative: Mystery Object
1:00 - 2:00 ~ Kindergarten - 2nd grade
2:30 - 3:30 ~  3rd - 5th grace
Receive a mystery object and access to additional craft supplies and use your imagination and creativity to create something.  The created artwork will be displayed in the library (or we can display a photograph, if you want to take your art home right away).  If siblings are in each age group, you may choose to all come together to one program.  Please register here.

Storytime (ages 3-5)

Game Day Unplugged
2:00 - 4:00
Children of all ages may drop in any time between 2:00 and 4:00 to play any "unplugged" game - board games, card games, cup stacking and more.  Registration is not required; just drop by to play.
