Please see the Events tab for fall programs.  We hope to see you at events and/or in the library soon!

Virtual tickets/Prize Entry Form:

When you complete a reading/listening goal, enter your virtual tickets in the prize drawing here.

In previous years, you put your tickets in the prize drawing box at the library. This year, you'll enter them virtually on the virtual entry form.

Reading logs

Our reading log this year allows you to count each day that you read.  We encourage you to read every day.  You can mark off the days you read and earn prizes as you reach reading goals throughout the summer.

You may adapt the reading log to work for your family.  If you can't read one day and you read more than usual on another day, you can count that for the day you missed. The important thing is that your child reads or listens to books and enjoys them!

We know some avid readers want to keep track of the amount of time they read throughout the summer. We hear you!  You can record the amount of time you read each day on your reading log. We will still ask you to enter the drawing for every 10 days, but you can keep track of your time, if you choose.

You can access our reading logs in any of the following ways:
  • You can open and print a copy of the pdf here.
  • You can save the jpg below to your phone, tablet or other device
  • You can pick up a copy from the library with Curbside Pickup. If you're picking up books or other items, let us know how many reading logs you would like and we'll include them with your items.
  • You can pick up a copy from inside the library.  Beginning on Tuesday, June 15, you can come into the library again - with an appointment.  You can see more about appointments and schedule a time in the "Make an Appointment" section of our website: https://milanlibrary.org
There is additional information on the reading logs.  If you have any questions, please let us know here or email us at youth@milanlibrary.org.
