May 12:

We'll have some trivia questions about books the group is likely to be familiar with, books in general, the library, and reading.  We'll have some books represented in emojis for them to identify the book.  And, we'll have some objects/images providing clues to a book; they'll use the clues to identify the book.

Everyone is invited (but not required) to bring clues to a book for the rest of the group to guess.  This can be as simple as a spoon for the picture book Spoon, or as detailed as they'd like.  You can see some examples here; look for the Guess the Book challenge video.

May 18:

June 2:

Bring Your Own Book game - This game is like Apples to Apples, except with books instead of cards.  Each round will start with a prompt such as "a name for a candy bar." Each player will then look in their book for a word or phrase to play as a response to the prompt.  Each person should have a book with them for the game. It can be a novel, a comic book, a cookbook - any book!
