Read to Hazel

Cathy Toth and her dog Hazel are members of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.  They will be at the library on Monday, February 3 for children to read to Hazel the dog.

Reading to Hazel provides children with a relaxed environment to practice reading and gain confidence in their reading skills.

Children may bring a book to read or choose one from the library.

We are accepting registrations for 10-minute increments throughout the hour Hazel will be here.  Please register here.

Nature Walk and Wander Pack Exploration
Saturday, September 21
10:30-11:30 A.M.

Wandering Washtenaw is donating 3 Wander Packs to our library. Thank you, Wandering Washtenaw!

These backpacks will contain items you can use to explore nature: binoculars, compasses, and more. They will be available to check out by our library patrons soon!

We're launching this program with a Nature Walk on Saturday, September 21. We'll start at the library, walk through Wilson Park using items from the backpacks to explore what we see, and wrap up back at the library with a nature craft.

If you'd like to attend the event on Saturday, September 21, please register here. Registration is not required, but is appreciated. It will help us plan for the appropriate number of people.

We hope to see you there!

If you'd like to check out one of the Wander Packs, you can reserve one here - or stop by to check one out.

Game Days

Dates will be posted as they are scheduled.

Drop by to build LEGO creations and play board games, card games, cup stacking, and more. From Hi Ho Cherry-O and I Spy to Labrynth and Bugs in the Kitchen to Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan, we'll have something for all ages!
