Resources, Events, & Info

We created this page during the time our building was closed (3/2020 - 6/2021).  We are not not updating the external resources/events section, but will leave it here as some of the resources are still available.

Our library is more than a building and is still here for you with in-person, virtual, and curbside services!

Our reopening plan:

Our reopening plan is here

Current status:
  • Our building is now open for browsing, computer use, copying, and all other services.
  • Items CAN still be checked out through our Curbside Pickup Service.  See details here.
  • Our meeting room is still closed to the public due to the limited size.  If you need genealogy or local history resources, we will retrieve them for you and you can use them in open areas of the library. Ask for help at the reference desk.
  • Our book return inside is open again.  You can return items inside when we're open and in the outdoor drop box at any time.
  • Returned items are NO longer being quarantined.

Checking out books and other items:

You can check out books and other items in the library or through Curbside Pickup.  To request books, you can;
  • Reserve them in our catalog:  milan.agverso.com.

  • See tips for searching our catalog here.

  • Fill out a Book Bundle form to let us know what children or teens would like to read and we'll choose books for you: bit.ly/YouthBookRequest.

  • Email youth@milanlibrary.org with questions, requests for suggestions, etc.

See details about Curbside Pickup here.

Staying connected:

You can find updates on our website, on social media, and in our youth newsletters.
